We Started on the Shop Floor. That Changes Everything.
DigiVert is a founder-led consulting firm for manufacturers and B2B businesses who need their technology to keep pace with their operations. We don't sell software licenses or follow a playbook. We figure out what's broken, build what's missing, and make sure it sticks.
Founder & Fractional CIO
I didn't come from IT. I came from the floor — production, warehousing, logistics, admin. I spent years inside manufacturing operations before I ever wrote a line of code. When I eventually moved into software development and IT leadership, I brought that operational background with me. It's not something I can turn off, and I wouldn't want to.
Since then, I've built custom ERP systems from the ground up, led integration projects across platforms like Acumatica, Spire Systems, BusinessVision, and 2020 Insight, and helped operations teams replace clipboards and spreadsheets with barcode tracking, digital job routing, and dashboards that people actually open.
I work across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, API and EDI integrations, automated order processing — pulling data from emails, Excel files, PDFs, and third-party platforms — and cross-platform development for web, mobile, and shop-floor devices. It's a broad stack, but manufacturing demands that.
Every DigiVert engagement is led by me directly. No handoffs. No junior team filling in the gaps. That means faster decisions, fewer miscommunications, and one person accountable from start to finish.
Most technology projects start with a requirements document. Ours start with a walk through the facility.
We call it "Shop Floor Up" because that's literally where we begin — watching how material moves, how jobs get tracked, where information disappears between departments. The technology strategy comes after we understand the work. Not before.
We work primarily with manufacturers, but we're a good fit for any business where the core operation involves moving, building, or delivering physical things. If your team relies on systems to get orders out the door, we speak your language.
If you've ever had a consultant recommend software without asking how your warehouse is laid out, you'll appreciate the difference.
This is the part of the website where most firms list buzzwords. Here's what we've actually done.
Cabinetry, millwork, general manufacturing. We've worked with production scheduling, job costing, quality tracking, and the gap between what the ERP says and what's happening on the floor.
Inventory that's never right. Receiving that depends on memory. Shipping that runs off a whiteboard. We've replaced those patterns with barcode-driven workflows, staged picking, and stock accuracy people trust.
Mobile data capture for field crews. Photo documentation. Subcontractor coordination and trades-focused software. When your team works outside four walls, the tools need to keep up.
Acumatica, Spire Systems, BusinessVision, 2020 Insight, 2020 Design, imos iX, QuickBooks, and custom-built systems. We've configured them, extended them, integrated them, and sometimes replaced them.
SQL Server, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, EDI. Automated order intake from email, Excel, PDFs, and third-party platforms. The kind of plumbing that's invisible when it works and catastrophic when it doesn't.
AI-assisted document intake, order creation, exception flagging, and reporting support. We use it where it solves a clear problem — not as a feature to put on a slide.
No pitch. No proposal on the first call. Just a conversation about where things stand and what might help.
